Salary : £22,866 per annum rising to £23,227 per annum on successful completion of probation and £24,257 per annum after accreditation.

Hours : 37.5 hours per week

Holiday : 25 days annual holiday entitlement increasing to 30 days after 5 years’ service per annum plus bank holidays

Role profile

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Male CYP ISVA to join our growing and rapidly developing ISVA Service in Devon & Cornwall. This opportunity is available following the appointment of a Male Adult ISVA, and as a result of the success of the Devon and Cornwall ISVA team in securing Male Standards Accreditation. This work has led to an increase in males reporting, and a desire for children and young people to have a choice of gender from their worker.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a complex caseload
  • Working to improve young males reporting of sexual violence
  • Contribute to team targets
  • Safeguarding children
  • Ability to manage own diary
  • Working as part of a team

Essential requirements:

  • Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience of working with sexual violence or young people in crisis
  • Experience of risk assessments and decision making
  • Well developed interpersonal skills (written and oral)
