Safe Parent Counsellor – Plymouth

Salary: £29,228 pro rata
Hours: 22.5 per week
Holiday: 25 days annual holiday entitlement increasing to 30 days after 5 years’ service per annum plus bank holidays
Base: Cattedown Primary Care Centre. Cattedown Road. Plymouth PL4 0BZ
Contract: fixed term until 30 September 2026
Key responsibilities:


  • To provide quality therapeutic support to clients
  • To maintain accurate notes and record keeping
  • Work with the BACP Ethical Framework
  • Be able to work coheisivly and collaboratively with the wider team
  • Ability to communicate at al levels

Essential requirements:
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma is Counselling
  • Experience of working with victims of sexual violence
  • Experience of working with children and younge people
  • Full individual membership of the BACP and on the Counsellors Register
  • Clear Enhanced DBS
  • Engaging in monthly clinical supervision.
