Knowing what to do when a patient, student or employee shares their story can be difficult. The most important thing is to make sure the person sharing their situation feels safe and knows that you believe them.

Anyone can make a secure online referral to First Light, letting us know that someone has experienced domestic abuse or sexual and needs our help.

Providing support

If you know or suspect that someone is experiencing domestic abuse or sexual violence, it can be difficult to know what to do.
