Triage Volunteers – Plymouth

We are looking for ISVA Triage Volunteers to provide a pro-active triage service to people affected by sexual violence and sexual abuse. This role is based in our Plymouth office alongside our Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Team.

The next training is scheduled for February to March 2020, every Saturday for five weeks from 22nd February to 28th March 2020. Due to the nature of the work and the fact that volunteers will have access to sensitive and privileged information all training must be attended.

Office Volunteers – Cornwall

If you have administration skills and other office-based experience, we are looking for Admin Volunteers in Threemilestone, Truro. Training is provided (two days) and we ask for a minimum commitment of five hours per week.

The next training for Admin Volunteers will be on 11th-12th March 2020. The deadline for applications for this training session is 21st February 2020 and interviews will be held on 27th February 2020.

Helpline Volunteers – Cornwall

Our crisis response helpline in Cornwall is covered by staff and volunteers, 09:00-17:00, Mondays to Fridays. We are now looking for Helpline Response Volunteers in Threemilestone, Truro. Applications are now open to commence training in April 2020.

The minimum volunteer commitment is five hours per week as well as seven days of training (one day per week for seven weeks).

Training will run from Weds 29th April to  Weds 17th June 2020 (one day per week for eight weeks excluding Weds 27th May). Interviews will take place on 18th March and the deadline for applications is 13th March.

Fundraising and Events Volunteers


We are looking for Fundraising Volunteers in Cornwall and Plymouth to organise events, collect donations, connect with local businesses, and raise awareness. This is a flexible role and there is no minimum time commitment. Training is provided. Apply here.
